Arizona International Trade: Industrial Exporters
September 4th, 2008Arizona, one of the fastest growing states in the U.S. is considered to be a conservative or ‘red’ state. Its Gross State Product has grown to well over $200 billion and its population is growing by about 3% annually. This explosive growth of people and communities creates enormous opportunities for business and trade with national and international companies.
Your author has been to Arizona on several occasions attending trade shows in Phoenix and Tucson as well as other business matters. Arizona is one of my favorite States because of its natural beauty, hardworking people and close communities. When it comes to international trade, Arizona ranks among one of the most important to the United States in terms of production and technology. Thus, it’s why I decided to write about the state this week in response to all my business friends in Arizona involved in importing and/or exporting goods to or from the ‘Grand Canyon State.’
Promoting Arizona Manufacturers Overseas
Before I get into the basis of this item. Allow me to invite all Arizona-based manufacturers and exporters of industrial products as well as custom manufacturers to list their company on the Worldwide Industrial Marketplace. If approved, your company will be promoted in front of an international audience of engineers, technical professionals and other industrial buyers. Your Arizona company does not need to be involved in exporting or importing to be approved, but it is preferred you are seeking to enter or expand into additional markets. Arizona has a significant number of manufacturers producing a wide range of industrial supplies, materials, equipment, machinery and custom-made components. Many of whom are already listed on American Industrial Marketplace and we are always looking for more.
RFQ’s From Industrial Buyers For Arizona Manufacturers
Without question, one of the primary benefits of Industrial Leaders is the trade leads provided for manufacturers. We specialize in connecting buyers with companies specializing in custom manufacturing services such as metal fabricating, extrusion, plastic injection molding, machining, prototyping, rubber components, textiles and all other manufacturing services. Job shops will find numerous RFQs From Qualified Buyers in need of such products and services. In fact, the last I checked we had RFQs worth well over $50 million in total sales value. Best of all, the majority of these sourcing professionals and companies are in immediate need. Thus, you won’t waste your time chasing poor leads.

Arizona Trading Partners
Naturally, Mexico and Canada is Arizona’s major trading partners. However, some may be surprised to learn that other leading trading partners with Arizona, in no particular order include France, Japan, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Malaysia, China and Singapore. Frankly, I expected Brazil to me one of Arizona’s leading trading partners as well but it appears they are not even in the top ten in either one-way or bilateral trade.
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Arizona is believed to be about $10 billion according to several sources. That includes 58,000+ workers employed in the state by foreign corporations. Of these jobs nearly 30% are in the manufacturing sector. Canada is one of the leading countries with major corporation in Arizona such as General Minerals Corp., Global Water, InNexus, WestJet, MDS International and many other Canada-owned companies.
Major Goods Exported From Arizona
Arizona is one of the leading exporters in the United States of computers and electronic components, PCBs, primary metals, plastic and rubber products, fabricated metals and alloys, machine tools and various other manufactured goods.
