Our high quality rare earth magnets include rare earth neodymium magnets, samarium cobalt rare earth magnets; rare earth neodymium magnets are made of superior commercial grade rare earth neodymium materials and other elements. Our samarium cobalt rare earth magnets are made of top quality samarium and cobalt rare earth materials.
Rare earth neodymium magnets (NdFeB) are composed of Neodymium, Iron, Boron, and other minor elements, they have excellent magnetic property and extremely strong for its small size. NdFeB rare earth neodymium magnets are more sensitive to temperature changes, rare earth neodymium magnets are the permanent magnets with highest maximum energy product. Over the last 10 years, due to a high ratio of performance over price of the neodymium magnets, neodymium magnets have become extremely popular in almost all high technology applications that require high performance magnets, motors, sensors, computers, communications, medical equipment, meters, home appliances and so on.
Another type of rare earth magnets is Samarium cobalt magnets (SmCo), they are composed of samarium, cobalt and iron. Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets are extremely strong for its size. Samarium cobalt magnets (SmCo) have lower energy product (MGOe) than rare earth neodymium magnets, but they have high resistance to demagnetization, and Samarium Cobalt (SmCo ) magnets have much higher operating temeprature (480 F) than rare earth neodymium magnets, they are the perfect magnets for higher temperature environment.They offer excellent corrosion resistance and typically do not require a surface coating.
Ceramic magnets are composed of strontium carbonate and iron oxide; they are the cheapest magnets we offer. Ceramic magnets have lower energy product than rare earth magnets and alnico magnets. Ceramic magnet�s operating temperature is 400 F. All of our ceramic magnets are grade 8 which is the strongest ceramic material available.
